Occupational illness

Occupational illness is an illness which was caused by circumstances of the workplace or of the work performed. It is a term from the area of insurance of the employer’s liability for damage in the event of accident or occupational illness in the Czech Republic. Some occupational illnesses are typical for a specific occupation. There is a list with these illnesses. If an occupational illness has been demonstrated, insurance benefit is paid.
