Statutory insurance

Statutory insurance is an obligation imposed by law. The insured becomes obliged to pay premiums. This insurance arises automatically irrespective of the insured’s will. Under this insurance, no insurance contract is entered into. There is only one statutory insurance in the Czech Republic, namely the insurance of employer’s liability for damage from work injury or occupational illness.
