The insured event must be reported at 800 449 999 (no charge) or by completing the relevant form which is available on the company’s website.

How is the insurance compensation paid out?

The insurance compensation is paid out to an account which the client stated in the Insured Event Report. In the event of death, the compensation is paid to the account of the Zonky company, which will then use it to repay the loan.

What should I do if the incapacity for work, taking care of family member or the jobless period lasts more than 29 days?

In this case, it is necessary to complete the relevant form and send it together with the required attachments to the following address: Maxima pojišťovna, a.s., Italská 1583/24, 120 00 Praha 2 – Vinohrady. Use the same address to send the relevant forms with all their attachments in the event of death or the confirmation of disability. Can I also claim insurance for illnesses or injuries diagnosed before the commencement of the insurance?

The insurance covers only those illnesses and injuries which occurred after the commencement of the insurance. In case of incapacity for work due to an illness which was treated already before the commencement of the insurance, you can apply for a postponement of instalments.​​​​
