Current information on MaxMedical health insurance for foreigners

(Prague, 3.6.2021) You may have noticed information in the media about a pending change in the law that would allow only one state-controlled insurance company to negotiate new insurance contracts in the future.

We would like to assure all clients that the contracts concluded before the possible change in the law are valid under the existing conditions and Maxima Insurance Company will fulfil all obligations towards clients and provide services to clients as before. The change would apply only to newly negotiated contracts. However, the legislative process has not been completed and the law is not in force and does not have the support of the Minister of Health.
