The Emergency Department for Adults of the Motol University Hospital charges a fee of CZK 5,000 per treatment session, if the patient does not display an acute life-threatening problem. The price includes the basic medical examination. The fee is collected at the Emergency Department reception desk. This fee is NOT COVERED by MAXIMA’s health insurance for foreigners.

Medical facility also provide health care services that exceed the standard scope of public health insurance in the Czech Republic.
